A Few Blues

Due to the lack of something different to shoot I am posting a few common species again.

A few images of the Blue Tit (Parus caeruleus), one of our common resident species, taken recently at two different locations.

  1. they're truly adorable Roy. The sweetest little bird with a lovely combo of colours. The blossoms equally beautiful in their own right; sweet post.

  2. Lovely photos of the Blue Tits. Although they're probably the most common bird in my garden, I love to watch them at the moment investigating the nest boxes.
I love the blossom against the bright blue sky, too.

    1. Yes Steve, its the flower of the Hawthorn Bush. Its one of the earliest to blossom. Its a hardwood that has been used to make walking sticks etc. It has very nasty little thorns sticking out from the branches as well.
