Shelduck

This male Shelduck was resting up and feeding in a pool adjacent to one of the bird hides in the Parkland the other day.

  1. The shelduck has its place also found. In the Netherlands, we see more and more of this mountain duck:-)

  2. Their beaks almost look sore somehow! So vivid, so scarlet. Never seen one other than at a distance, they aren't super common in my neck of the (non) woods

  4. I saw my first Shelduck in Wales a few years back, we do get a odd one up at Eccup sometimes...Geat shots.
