Brown Bird - Brown Butterfly

Images of a Chiffchaff that I shot in the last fews days and my first sighting of the year of the Speckled Wood Butterfly.

    The fresh speckled wood as a greenish lustre that evidently disappears very quickly. Saw my first at the weekend, as well as orange tips

      That lustre is to do with the wings being inflated, if thats the best word to use, on emerging butterflies Simon.
