Canadian Gold

I was fortunate to arrive at a scene where these Canada Geese goslings were being watched by their parents as they fed on grass. Unfortunately I was only able to get a few shots of them amongst the perfect setting of daisies before some idiot with a loose dog came along and frightened them on to the lake.

The more vocal amongst the goslings were having a lot to say about everything.

More Swallows

More Swallow images.

You can observe from the first image that the bird has mud on its beak and is in the process of nest building.
The images were taken on a rail bridge which runs over a river and the pair are nesting under the bridge.
